The Ministry of Transport has revealed details of its actions taken with Iraqis returning to the country via exceptional flights.
The Technical Director of the Ministry, Abbas Omran, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Ministry of Transport was able to fulfill the requests of the Iraqi communities from those stranded abroad to return them to the country, stressing that about 9500 Iraqis were transferred from abroad and the work is still continuing according to the schedule fixed for the company Iraqi Airways".
He added, "The issue of the return of Iraqis stranded abroad is carried out with the follow-up of the Minister of Transport, the Diwaniyah Commission 55 and the National Health and Safety Committee," noting that the returnees from the countries with the many injuries of Corona go to stone in hotels, while the returnees from the least-affected countries are quarantined in their homes. .
