The Parliamentary Crisis Cell affirmed today, Tuesday, that Iraq is in danger, and that reducing the risk of corona is inaccurate.

"Iraq is currently in relation to the Corona virus is in the danger circle," said First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi, head of the Parliamentary Crisis Cell, in a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper.

Al-Kaabi indicated that "a three-month contingency plan has been developed to control the spread of the Corona virus," noting that "the contingency plan must include reducing the number of citizens in popular areas by imposing security and the rule of law."

He added that "Iraq suffers from a lack of examination devices for suspects and the injured," noting that "there are 4 devices throughout the country, and this number is not commensurate with the estimated population of 40 million people."

He explained that "the areas of Rusafa and the areas east of the canal are mostly popular and their middle or weak income people suffer from the small size of their homes and the lack of municipal services in them, which may help to increase the number of Coronavirus infections," calling on "the people of this region to adhere to the curfew."
