The Ministry of Communications confirmed today, Sunday, that it is preparing an integrated study to reduce the wages of international Internet capacities, which will be announced soon.
Communications Minister Naeem Al-Rubaie told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Ministry is in the process of preparing an integrated study that will be presented within the next two days to the National Health and Safety Committee to combat the Corona virus, in order to announce new cuts in the wages of international Internet capacities."
He added that "in the current circumstances that the Iraqi people are going through, the citizen who was forced into the home quarantine for his safety from the pandemic of the new Corona epidemic has become in need of an increase in the capacities of the Internet and mobile charging cards, in addition to providing food and health supplies."
