A member of the House of Representatives revealed the Kurdish future bloc, Sercut Shams al-Din, the most prominent of the Kurdish group's talks with the Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zorfi.
Shams al-Din said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Kurdish group consisting of representatives of all the Kurdish parties, with the exception of the democratic party and the National Union, continues its dialogues with the designated Prime Minister.
He pointed out that "the dialogues focused on adhering to the provisions of the constitution, including Article 140, and commitment to the financial entitlements of the citizens of the region, and looking at them as Iraqis away from political and oil conflicts."
He continued, "The dialogues also dealt with resolving outstanding issues, including oil and revenue issues, and dealing with the peshmerga as an Iraqi regular force in terms of salaries and benefits, as well as responding to the demands of the demonstrators and meeting their legitimate demands," noting that "the Kurdish and Democratic party, the National Union, are discussing separately with Zurfi and perhaps Their talks are about getting gains in his government.
