The representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq, Adham Ismail, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The measures taken from Iraq are in line with global health standards," noting that "the decisions taken by the crisis cell are in the interest of the people, especially after the disease is transmitted from one Iraqi to another." .
Ismail added that "most of the cases infected with coronavirus in Iraq are light and medium and their recovery rate is very high," noting that "fears are focused on the elderly, and on those who suffer from other diseases such as diabetes, heart and cancer, because their infection with the virus may lead to death."
