A statement to inform the Border Ports Authority, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The head of the Border Ports Authority Omar Al-Waeli received in his office Deputy Member of the Integrity Committee in the House of Representatives Yusef Al-Kalabi, where during the meeting the importance of joint cooperation with regulatory authorities, including the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, was conducted for the purpose of Evaluating the work and identifying the deficiencies in performance and setting the appropriate solutions for it.
Al-Waeli affirmed during the meeting his "keen desire to deepen the relationship with the supervisory authorities and obtain their support to eliminate the mafias of corruption by adopting a modern methodology in the procedures taken in customs work by adopting an" automated "system of electronic procedures.
