The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Abdul Karim Khalaf, confirmed to the Iraqi News Agency: The National Security Council decided in its 19th session today, to cancel the security audit in the liberated provinces except for the displaced people in the camps.
During its last session, the Council of Ministers agreed to approve what was stated in the decision of the Supreme Committee for Relief and Shelter for Families Displaced by Terrorist Operations No. (816) of 2019, according to the following:
1. Modify the name of the Supreme Committee for Relief and Shelter for Families displaced by Terrorist Operations, to become (the Higher Committee for Relief and Support for the Displaced).
2. The tasks and functions of the committee will be above, supporting, assisting and following up the displaced in case of emergency, and re-establishing and reintegrating them upon return.
