The President of the Republic Dr. Barham Salih, received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad the credentials of a number of new ambassadors to Iraq.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic received by the Iraqi News Agency that President Barham Salih received the credentials of a number of new ambassadors of the Netherlands Eric Stratk and Sweden Lars Ronos, Bosnia and Herzegovina Mato Zico, South Africa Ibrahim Sally and Cyprus Andreas Kozweis.
He added Salih stressed Iraq's keenness to openness in its relations with all countries and to enhance security and stability at the regional and international levels, wishing the new ambassadors success in their new tasks. During the handover ceremony, the two sides discussed ways to develop friendly relations and cooperation to serve the common interests between Iraq and the countries represented diplomatically.
