The Culture Committee examines UNESCO's recommendations after the inclusion of Babylon in the World Heritage List

The Committee on Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities in the House of Representatives on Thursday discussed with the committee concerned with the Babylon file ways to implement the conditions and recommendations of the World Organization UNESCO on the inclusion of Babylon in the list of World Heritage.

Head of the Committee, Samia Al-Ghallab and Deputy Ali Al-Humaidawi, stressed during the meeting held in Babil province in the presence of the Deputy Governor of Babylon and the Executive Committee concerned with the completion of the development and rehabilitation projects of Babylon and the lifting of abuses. The old list within the global list and the completion of all requirements and resolve all problems and obstacles to the proper functioning of the work, taking into account the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture for the file of Babylon before the international community.
