The Iraqi Embassy in Cairo announced Thursday that it has reached with the relevant authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a procedure to allow Iraqis coming to Egypt to keep their passports upon arrival and not to withdraw them at the airport, as has been the case for years. It was implemented as of today.The embassy said in a statement that "the Egyptian authorities, allowed the size of the Iraqi tourist groups coming to Egypt by (5) only, after it was previously limited to (20) individuals.
The statement added that these facilities come after the fruitful communication of Ambassador Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, and the embassy staff, with the relevant authorities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which has shown great cooperation to achieve these facilities, which It will develop human relations between the two brotherly peoples he said.
