The fourth session of the Arab Economic and Social Council at the ministerial level began on Thursday with the participation of Iraq.Trade Minister Mohammed al-Ani headed the Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings, which included 24 items, 3 of which were specific to Iraq.
According to the ministry the items of Iraq are the eleventh item and includes a preliminary study of the idea of the production of diammonium phosphate fertilizer project submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture. The proposal was forwarded to the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, the Arab Organization for Industrial Development and Mining and the Arab Atomic Energy Authority.
The statement added that item XII included welcoming Iraq to host the meeting devoted to the presentation of projects hosting countries hosting refugees and displaced Syrians, in addition to the other item on joint cooperation.
