INA - Sulaimaniya
An ancient city nearby Sulaimaniya has been found by French archeological team headed by Dr. Aleen Twiney.
“This ancient city return to 3000 BC,” Kamal Raheem, the director of Sulaimaniya archeological dept.
Around 116 clay tablets were found. The tablets were written by Acadian language. It explains the daily life of the people at that time.
The tablets also have details about the economic, political life and construction features of that city.
Other buildings of 20 meters were also discovered in that area.
