INA – BAGHDAD
Counter-Terrorism units started a security operation to hunt Daesh terrorist groups in Hamrin Mountains on Thursday.
The Units were supported by the US-Led Coalition aircraft.
This came in response to the orders of the Commander in Chief of Iraqi Armed Forces, PM Adel Abdul Mahdi.
The operation aims to destroy all the caves and sanctuaries of the terrorist groups in these mountains starting from Diyala until Kirkuk.
