The Arab Monetary Fund raised its forecast for the growth of the Iraqi economy during the current year and next year.The IMF, according to the report issued today on the prospects for the Arab economy for 2019 and 2020, predicted the growth of the Iraqi economy at constant prices by 3.8% during the current year, compared to a contraction of 1% last year.
At the level of inflation in the country, the Arab Monetary Fund expected to reach 1.5% in 2019, to rise from 2018, which reached 0.4%, and expected to continue to rise about 1.7% next year.The IMF forecasts that the current balance will grow by 8.3% in 2019 and 8% by 2020.
