President of the Republic Barham Salih that the brotherly relationship between Iraq and Saudi Arabia has historical roots and is growing steadily, in line with the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of the two brotherly countries.
According to a statement by the Information Office of the President of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency , Salih received the Saudi delegation participating in the second session of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordinating Council under the chairmanship of the Minister of Trade and Investment Majid Al-Kasabi, noting that Iraq is keen to build privileged relations with the Kingdom and the rest of its brothers and neighbors According to common interests.
The President praised Saudi Arabia's support for the Iraqi people and its contribution to the reconstruction of its liberated cities and the assistance of refugees and displaced persons.
The president pointed out that Iraq, after achieving the victory over terrorism represented by bandits, has become a magnet for investors, especially that the investment prospects have become promising for its openness to the world and good relations with many countries.
