Ina publishes Cabinet’s resolutions

    The Cabinet held its regular session on Tuesday, April 2nd. chaired by the Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi. In a statement received by Ina; the session discussed these issues:

    • Re-presentation of the General Population and Housing Census issue; agreed upon and a date was set for the year 2020.
    • Agreement to exempt martyrs’ families from paying back transgressions on the social protection benefits.
    • Agreement on The Draft Agreement for Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Iraqi Government and the Government of Saudi Arabia.
    • Re-presentation of the Third Amendment of the Al- Imam Al-A’adam College Legislation, No. 19 of 1997.
    • Annulment of Cabinet Resolution No. 123 for 2018, and the bureau Order (34 of 2018); on formation of an Operations Room of the Ministers Cabinet.
    • Agreement to commence works of the Um Qaser water project.
    • Re-presentation- allocating 30% of collected fees and fines to support the social protection fund in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
    • Agreement on a recommendation of the Ministerial Council on Energy for the Dry Gas Pipe (Nafutkhana-Baghdad)/ Iranian Line, and a new lease agreement with Risk Management Group Limited Company ‘C.R.G’.
    • Agreement on transfer of land ownership from Ministry of Industry and Minerals to the Ministry of Electricity, free of charge.
    • Agreement on recommendations of the Central Deletion Committee on cancellation of furniture and expendable assets at the Supreme Judicial Council; and for the Ministry of Health and the Environment, on the cancellation of ambulances belonging to the Basra Health Department and Ministry of Transport.
