Salih receive a British military delegation

    President of the Republic Dr.Barham Salih received senior British defense adviser Sir John Lorimer.

    The importance of upgrading the bilateral relations between the two countries at various levels to the benefit of the two friendly peoples is commendable, he said, praising the active role played by Britain in the international coalition to combat terrorism.

    For his part, Lorimer reiterated his country's support for the stability of Iraq and its prosperity, expressing its readiness to contribute effectively to the strengthening and building of the training and armament capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces.
