Education launches
Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Researchstressed on Sunday that Project “Job Fair” launched in six universities aims to employ graduates into the private sector.
Ehab Naji Abbas; Director General of Planning, Studies and Follow-up in the Ministry said told Ina: “The project is similar to a Baghdad Fair, designed to bring in tens of reliable private sector companies; so they could present job opportunities and skills required for graduate students. The last “Job Fair” held at the University of Technology hosted some 70-80 companies; and hundreds of graduates got jobs through it. The Ministry also launched an advisory committee (after two years of establishing), composed of some private sector companies; to offer their opinions in the curriculum given to students; for continuous updating to fit the labor market and the private sector; so that students can work there after graduating”.
