Halabousi condemns the explosion of Mosul

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi on Friday condemned the terrorist attack by a car bomb in the area of the cultural group in the city of Mosul.

We condemn the criminal attack in Mosul which resulted in the death of a number of unarmed civilians, Halabousi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency.We renew our call to strengthen the number of security forces in the liberated areas, especially the local police, and enable the people of these areas to contribute to the maintenance of the land to preserve security, as well as the effort of intelligence to eliminate the sleeper cells that are trying to destabilize.
