The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued a number of decisions today, Saturday, regarding the Zionist aggression on the Palestinian people and the annexation and displacement plans from their land.
A statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: "The twentieth extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation stressed the need to adhere to a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the Middle East as a strategic option based on the complete withdrawal of the Zionist entity from all Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, and enabling the Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights."
It clarified in its statement the need to "oblige the Zionist entity to implement the permanent and sustainable ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and facilitate the return of the displaced to their homes, open all crossings, and ensure the adequate delivery of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip."
It pointed out the necessity of "absolute rejection and firm confrontation of plans aimed at displacing the Palestinian people inside or outside their land, and condemning the policies of starvation and scorched earth aimed at forcing the Palestinian people to leave their land."
It highlighted the importance of "stopping all policies and procedures of illegal annexation and settlement, home demolitions, land confiscation, destruction of infrastructure, Zionist military incursions into Palestinian camps and cities, and attempts to impose alleged Zionist sovereignty over any parts of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem."
