Foreign Minister arrives in Cairo

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived in Cairo today, Sunday, to participate in the meetings of the Ministerial Council of the Arab League.
 
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived in Cairo to participate in the meetings of the Ministerial Council of the Arab League."
 
  "The meeting comes in preparation for the emergency Arab Summit scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 4 in Cairo, in which the Iraqi delegation will be headed by the President of the Republic."
 
  "The emergency summit will discuss the Palestinian situation in general, with a special focus on the project to displace Palestinians from Gaza Strip, and the serious repercussions that this project may result from for the entire Palestinian issue."
 
The statement concluded, "This summit comes within the framework of Arab efforts to confront current challenges and support Palestinian rights."
