Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Friday, with the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, Rashad Al-Alimi, at his residence in Munich.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):”The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations across various fields, as well as discussing key Arab and regional issues and the need for unified positions and visions to enhance security, stability, and the rights of brotherly and friendly nations to live in peace and pursue development.”
Prime Minister Al-Sudani reaffirmed, “Iraq’s continued support for dialogue in Yemen and its commitment to backing initiatives aimed at resolving the current crises and establishing security and peace.”
For his part, Al-Alimi praised Iraq’s balanced approach to regional crises and its efforts toward fostering stability and de-escalation.
