Oil Minister: Numerous activities to immortalize the Holy Quran's National Day

    The Ministry of Oil held a celebration on Monday on the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Quran, in the presence of a number of religious, cultural and political figures, Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani indicated that the ministry has many programs to honor the National Day of the Holy Quran.
     
    Abdul Ghani said in a speech during the celebration, which was attended by the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Celebrating the National Day of the Holy Quran is an initiative launched by the Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, and it is one of the initiatives that has dimensions and effects on people, as it was prepared by our ministry and all ministries and government agencies to be the launch of a memory that is celebrated annually."
     
    He added that "the Holy Quran represents a tolerant heavenly message that Muslims and non-Muslims follow as it contains rulings, wisdom, and stories that have a profound impact on our social and practical lives."
     
    The Minister of Oil explained that "following the words of the Holy Quran represents a roadmap that individuals or institutions can adopt in the field of work, its mastery and quality, in addition to the ranks and degrees achieved by workers and scholars. As a result, the Quran is a straight path that Allah Almighty has emphasized in His decisive verses."
     
    He concluded by saying: "Today we celebrate this great and dear anniversary with a group of Quran memorizers and readers from the Sunni and Shiite endowments and from the holy shrines and from our sons and daughters in the ministry," stressing that "the ministry has many programs to glorify this day, and next year they will be organized and their instructions will be determined later."
