President Abdul Latif Rashid on Tuesday stressed the importance of the Baghdad International Dialogue in promoting understanding between countries.
A statement by the media office of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: "The President of the Republic received an official invitation to attend the seventh Baghdad International Dialogue."
The President of the Republic stressed that "Iraq strengthens its role in formulating regional and international solutions," stressing "the importance of the Baghdad International Dialogue in promoting dialogue and understanding between countries, especially in light of the current challenges facing the region and the world."
"This international gathering represents an opportunity to exchange views on security, economic and political issues, and to work to develop joint solutions to problems affecting the stability of the region," he said.
The activities of the Seventh Baghdad International Dialogue under the slogan "Communication for Development and Regional Stability" will be launched on February 22, 2025 in the capital, Baghdad, with wide international participation and organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue IID.
