Indian Airplane landed in the Najaf International Airport - NIA coming from New Delhi to Iraq on Thursday.
Noting that, it has been around 30 years since the last flight made from India to Iraq.
The Indian Ambassador to Iraq Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit attended at the airport to witness the arrival of this flight along with the executive director of the airport Shakir al-Sbihawi.
“An airway of Najaf – New Delhi – Najaf will be open from now on by making two flights per week and on Thursday and Monday exclusively,” said the head of the NIA Media Office Jaffar al-Alawi.
