The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Special Forces, Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, Today, Saturday, reviewed the readiness of the security forces at the Al-Waleed border crossing.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Chief of Staff of the Army visited the Al-Waleed border crossing to check the readiness of the units there," accompanied by the Assistant for Operations, the Commander of the Land Forces, the Assistant Director of Military Intelligence, and the Secretary of Intelligence for the Chief of Staff of the Army."
It added that "the Chief of Staff of the Army then visited the Border Forces Command, the Fourth Brigade, and listened to a briefing on the axes and the brigade's openness in the border area and the most important obstacles."
