Victory Alliance leader Haider Al-Abadi expressed optimism for a united and secure Syria, reconciled both internally and internationally.
In a post on X, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Abadi said, "As I have reiterated before, tyranny cannot endure, and neither can terrorism, chaos, or conflict."
He added, "I have great hope for a Syria that is unified, safe, and reconciled with itself and the world. Iraq and Syria share significant commonalities that can be leveraged for mutual benefit."
Al-Abadi concluded, "Our people are exhausted from wars and conflicts and yearn for an era of peace and development."
He called for collective efforts to extinguish the flames of discord, conflict, and war for the people's best interests.
