Army units will be moving to support the open borders from Jordan to Al-Qaim in the south, the Ministry of Defense announced Monday.
"Armoured units of the valiant Iraqi army moved to support the open borders from Al-Qaim in the south to the Jordanian border," the ministry said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"This came after using armoured and mechanised units to reinforce the northern section west of Nineveh," the statement stated.
