Basra Gas Company announced today, Wednesday, the return of production and export operations normally following the fire incident in the company's main furnace, while indicating that work continues to return the first main line (Basra NGL) to work again in the middle of the last month of this year.
The Deputy Managing Director of Basra Gas Company and Director of the Supreme Production Authority, Marfa’ Kazim, stated to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Basra Gas Company returned to work normally following the fire incident in the company's main furnace, as periodic maintenance enabled the control and safety systems to contain the fire and isolate the damage inside the furnace without extending to the rest of the company's facilities.
