The General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances announced today, Sunday, the dismantling of 57 international drug networks during the years 2023 and 2024.
The Director of Media of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, Hussein Al-Tamimi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "During the years 2023 and 2024, 57 international drug networks were dismantled."
He added, "The operations took place under the personal and direct supervision of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and with field follow-up by the Director General of Narcotics Affairs and based on judicial decisions."
