MOHESR confirms Iraq's readiness to exchange students with Saudi Arabia

    Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Naeem Al-Aboudi chaired today, Thursday, the periodic meeting of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee to discuss and follow up on the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, while stressing Iraq's readiness to exchange students between the two countries.

    The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, chaired the periodic meeting of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee to discuss and follow up on the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council.

    " He added, "The attendees discussed the topics included on the agenda, including the Iraqi-Saudi scientific and technical incubator and the electronic scientific expertise system that includes the visiting professor category and the research centers accredited by both sides and training courses in the field of institutional and academic accreditation and a proposal for an Iraqi-Saudi electronic university."

    He continued, "Representatives of the ministries and state institutions presented a number of proposals within the context of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council related to exchanging experiences in the field of preparing training leaders (TOT) and twinning with training centers through mutual visits to review the modern training methods adopted in the two countries and establishing a smart school for integrated education for people with special needs and introducing artificial intelligence technology in the field of education and the administrative field and training in the field of investment and sports marketing and holding a sports week between the youth of Iraq and Saudi Arabia."

    The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed, “Iraq and its university institutions are ready to exchange students between the two countries within an environment of cooperation and joint coordination and in light of indicators of international interaction with the Study in Iraq program.”
