Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed, today, Thursday, to send a special plane to transport the Air Force team from Saudi Arabia to Iraq.
A government source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani directed the dispatch of a private plane to transport the Air Force team from Saudi Arabia to Iraq."
This came after the administrative body of the Air Force Sports Club appealed to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to intervene urgently and directly to solve the problem of the football team, which is stuck in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to the closure of the airspace as a result of the recent events in the Middle East region, and to provide a private plane to transport the delegation to Baghdad.
