Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed today, Saturday, with the Commander of the Pakistani Rapid Response Forces and his accompanying delegation the mechanism for training combat forces and exchanging expertise .
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated: "The Ministry of Interior continues to develop the capabilities and potentials of its joints and formations, and with the aim of discussing the mechanism for training the ministry's combat units, Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari met with the commander of the Pakistani Rapid Response Forces and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of leaders .".
The statement added that "during the meeting, the training of combat forces in the Ministry of Interior by the Pakistani Rapid Response Forces inside and outside the country was discussed according to an advanced scientific approach that enables trainees to perform their duties and tasks with high professionalism that keeps pace with the development taking place in the countries of the world ." .
The meeting discussed, according to the statement, "a number of topics related to the exchange of expertise in the field of training and other matters, and intensifying cooperation in the security field between Iraq and Pakistan."
