The Russian Ministry of Defense announced, today, Thursday, the crash of a strategic bomber in the Irkutsk region in the south of the country.
The ministry said in a statement that "units of the Russian forces' Eastern Group improved their tactical positioning along the front line, and targeted concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 58th and 50th Mechanized Infantry Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Vodianoe and Prichistovka areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, and repelled two counterattacks by assault groups of the 125th Ground Defense Brigade."
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that "Russian forces targeted Ukrainian missile and drone depots, in addition to targeting concentrations of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment in 152 areas."
