Official holidays law amended

Secretariat General of The Ministers Council announced on Sunday, the confirmation of the ministers’ council recommendation to the Parliament to amend the official holidays’ law.
The Secretariat said in a statement, INA received a copy of that the amendment prescribes to add 25th of December, of each year, holiday on the occasion of birth of Christ.
The holidays’ law was sent to the Parliament with another amendment that provides for considering the Liberation of Iraqi territories from Daesh terrorist gangs on 10th of December as the National Day for the Republic of Iraq and an official holiday of every year.
