Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia al-Sudani issued directives and recommendations to various security and military formations today, Wednesday, against the backdrop of recent events and repercussions in Iraq and the region.
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired a meeting today, Wednesday, that included a number of military and security leaders."
Accordingto the statement "Al-Sudani was briefed on the overall security developments that occurred during the past hours, and the meeting also witnessed a discussion of security data and expected repercussions resulting from the events in Iraq and the region."
"Al-Sudani issued during the meeting a set of directives and recommendations to various security and military formations."
