The Ministry of Interior announces the success of the security plan for Ashura visit

The Ministry of Interior announced today, Wednesday, the success of the security plan for the visit of the tenth of the holy month of Muharram, the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
 
 
The Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee to secure the visit to the tenth of Muharram al-Haram, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “after relying on God and over continuous days, the security services and other supporting parties have harnessed their efforts and capabilities to secure the visit to the tenth of Muharram, commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and the plan drawn up for this immortal occasion went according to plan and was characterized by a major role for the security services, including a high-level intelligence effort, with cameras monitoring the sectors around the clock.”
Al-Shammari added, "Thanks to the tremendous efforts made by all the security forces assigned to this duty, we announce the success of the plan prepared to secure protection for the Husseini bodies and processions, both fixed and mobile, to offer condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom the son of the Prophet .”
