INSS Dismantles Fraud Networks in Three Provinces

Iraqi National Security Service-INSS announced on Saturday, the dismantling of networks engaged in fraud and deceiving citizens with false job appointments in three provinces.
 
"Based on intelligence and field monitoring, INSS in Anbar province disbanded a network of 10 individuals involved in fraud and deceiving citizens with promises of appointments within the Popular Mobilization Forces in exchange for financial remuneration," stated INSS in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
It added that "security forces managed to dismantle two other fraud networks in Diyala and Baghdad provinces, following judicial orders. One of the individuals from these networks claimed direct connections to a director general, exploiting this claim to manipulate victims into believing they were securing legitimate employment positions within INSS."
 
The statement concluded by noting that the suspects involved in these crimes have been apprehended and referred to judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
