The management of Al-Kahraba Club, today, Wednesday, clarified the details of the transfer deal for the team’s striker and national football team player, Ali Jassim, while indicating that there are many offers on the player’s table.
A member of the administrative body of the Al-Kahraba Club, Naeem Saddam, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Negotiations regarding the transfer of the Al-Kahraba team striker and our national team player, Ali Jassim, to the Como Club are still ongoing, and not all doors have been closed.”.
He pointed out, “The Al-Kahraba Club included a clause in the contract, according to a consultation from the Spanish national team coach, Jesus Casas, indicating the importance of Ali Jassim’s participation with the first team of the Italian club Como, which has just been promoted to the Premier League (A).”
He added, "The Cuomo administration responded negatively to this paragraph, and that its contract with the player might include him with the club's age group teams before putting him in the first team, which angered us because coach Casas wanted the national team player, Ali Jassim, to participate in strong matches." And maintaining the rhythm of the matches, especially since there are final World Cup qualifiers awaiting him.”
Saddam stressed, "Things have not been decided yet and all possibilities are possible," warning that "there are several offers awaiting the player if the Italian team's deal fails, in addition to that he is committed to a contract with the Air Force until the end of the current season."
