The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Wednesday air strikes on terrorist hideouts in Diyala and Kirkuk provinces, noting that the operation resulted in the destruction of 10 Daesh terrorist hideouts.
A statement from the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that, “Under the supervision and planning of the Joint Operations Command, and according to accurate information from the intelligence agencies and departments, and in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the air falcons destroyed terrorist nests using Cessna Caravan aircraft, 4 of which were In Diyala and 6 in Kirkuk, they turned into rubble.”
The statement pointed out, "These strikes come as a continuation of the offensive action, preventing the enemy from using its former hideouts, and cutting off its logistical supply routes."
