DGIS overthrows three Wanted in Baghdad and Najaf

The General Directorate of intelligence and Security – DGIS announced ,on Sunday , the overthrow of 3 wanted on charges of terrorism, kidnapping and drug trafficking in Baghdad and Najaf Al-Ashraf.

" Detachments of Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense managed to arrest two wanted on charges of terrorism and kidnapping in the Zafaraniya and Taji areas of Baghdad, for whom two arrest warrants were issued under the provisions of Articles (1/4 terrorism, 421 kidnapping)", indicating that "they were referred to the investigation to complete their investigative papers ”,stated DGIS in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA. 

" The intelligence and security detachments of Najaf Al-Ashraf affiliated to the same directorate, were able to arrest one of the dealers and promoters of narcotic substances in the same province in red handed, a judicial warrant was issued against him in accordance with Article (28 drugs) ",noting that "his statements were written down rudimentary and judicial and take the necessary measures against him” the statement added .
