The dismantling of a network that planned to conduct terrorist operations in the province of Kirkuk was announced by the Security Media Cell.
According to accurate intelligence information, the security forces of Kirkuk were able to apprehend a terrorist in the city, and through the terrorist's confessions, it was discovered that he was a member of a terrorist cell that was plotting terrorist acts, the Cell stated in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement said, "The operation also resulted in the arrest of two leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs, and the remaining network members were located through field scrutiny and follow-up."
