A terrorist was arrested west of Mosul

    The Ministry of Interior announced today, Friday, the arrest of a terrorist in Al-Baaj area, west of Mosul.
     
     
    A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “A joint force from the Al-Baaj Police Directorate affiliated with the Nineveh Police Command and Al-Baaj Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Department carried out a security exercise in search of the defendants wanted by the judiciary.”
    According to the statement "The force was able to arrest a defendant accused of terrorism cases, within Al-Baaj district, west of the city of Mosul, and he was working as a fighter within ISIS terrorist gangs during the period of their control over the city of Mosul."
