In Dhi Qar province, Al-Sudani inaugurates Ya Hussein Road

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani inaugurated Ya Hussein road in the Dhi Qar province on Monday.

"PM Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, inaugurated the road (Ya Hussein) in the center of the city of Nasiriyah, in Dhi Qar province, which he arrived this morning," the Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency.

"The road is divided into two sections," it continued. "The first section is three kilometers long and has four main and service lanes, green spaces, and seating areas. The second section comprises two 800-meter-long lanes, and a garden strip beside the road, signifying that "the road was completed within the initiatives of (the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund)."

It mentioned that "there is an air-conditioned electric pedestrian bridge with stairs and electric elevators on the (Ya Hussein) road."
