Al-Maliki receives Hadi al-Amiri

Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, and Head of the Nabni Coalition, Hadi al-Amiri, stressed the importance of accelerating the announcement of the final results of the elections.
 
The media office, head of the State of Law Coalition, stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that,“The head of te State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, received today in his office the head of the Nabni Coalition, Hadi al-Amiri,” indicating that “during the meeting, developments in the political and security situation in the country were discussed, and what It was revealed by the results of the recent local elections.”
 
"The two sides stressed the importance of accelerating the announcement and ratification of the final results of the elections in order to accelerate the formation of local governments, for the purpose of achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people, and benefiting from the plans and projects that the federal government will implement in all governorates,” The statement added.
 
Regarding the recent American attack on security headquarters in Wasit and Babil, both sides expressed their "condemnation of these attacks, which are a violation of Iraq's sovereignty and the sanctity of its land."
