Four dangerous drug dealers arrested in Najaf province: DGIS

The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security- DGIS at the Ministry of Defense announced on, Sunday, the arrest of 4 of the most dangerous drug traffickers in the province of Najaf province.
 
DGIS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Detachments of the Najaf intelligence and security directorate affiliated to DGIS enabled, through two separate duties and through accurate intelligence and in coordination with drug affairs, to arrest 4 of the most dangerous dealers and promoters of narcotic substances in the province of Najaf, one of them is a fugitive from Judiciary”.
 
“The defendants were found in possession of a quantity of the narcotic substance crystal ,” the statement added.
 
"Their statements were initially and judicially recorded and after being brought before the competent judicial authorities, they were imprisoned per the provisions of article 28," the statement continued.
