    The National Security Service announced today, Friday, that its headquarters in the capital, Baghdad, were attacked by outlaw groups.

    National Security Service spokesman Arshad Al-Hakim said, in response to a question by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent about the criminal attack, that “the headquarters of the National Security Service was attacked by outlaw groups,” noting that “the rocket projectiles caused material damage to the wheels.” And buildings.”

    He stressed that "the National Security Agency will pursue the perpetrators of these criminal attacks and bring them to justice."

    Today, Friday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed that the perpetrators of the attack by launching projectiles towards the American embassy in Iraq be pursued and brought to justice, while he stressed the continued protection of diplomatic missions.

    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed all security leaders, and in the areas of responsibility, to pursue the perpetrators of the projectile-firing attack.” To the American embassy in Iraq, and bring them to justice.”

    In his directives, according to the statement, the Commander-in-Chief stressed that “targeting diplomatic missions is something that cannot be justified, and cannot be accepted, under any circumstances and regardless of the allegations and illusions behind these shameful acts.”

    He stressed that "the perpetrators of these attacks are committing an insult to Iraq, its stability and security, and that these unruly, lawless groups do not in any way represent the will of the Iraqi people, nor do they reflect the national Iraqi decision expressed by the Iraqi government on several official occasions."

    He continued, "Manipulating Iraq's stability, abusing internal security, trying to harm Iraq's political reputation, and targeting safe places protected by the force of law, norms, and international agreements are acts of terrorism, and our security forces and governmental and executive agencies, each according to its competence and duty, will continue to protect diplomatic missions and uphold treaties." international law and a commitment to secure it.”
