Prime Minister receives head of UN mission in Iraq

Baghdad-INA The Prime Minister discussed during his meeting with the head of the UN mission in Iraq, Jan Kubic, the political and security situation in the country and the operations of stability and reconstruction and future United Nations programs in Iraq, the media office of the prime minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency .The importance of the international community's support for Iraq during the next phase after the victory over terrorism and move to the stage of reconstruction of the country and investment and the provision of services and employment opportunities, Abdul Mahdi said. For his part, Kubic stressed the support of the United Nations for Iraq and the Iraqi government and the ongoing work with the international community to assist in its reconstruction.
