The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security-DGIS announced on Tuesday, capturing four drug dealers and traffickers in two governorates.
“In separate Ops and through accurate intelligence, the detachments of DGIS at the Ministry of Defense and in coordination with narcotics affairs in Diwaniyah and Najaf governorates were able to arrest four traffickers and dealers of narcotic substances red-handed as number of arrest warrants were issued against them pursuant to article 28 ,” stated DGIS in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
“Their statements were initially and judicially recorded, and they were referred to the judiciary to receive their just punishment,” the statement added.
