DMI captures five terrorists in Anbar and Nineveh, SMC reports

The Security Media Cell-SMC announced on Saturday, the overthrow of five members of ISIS terrorist gangs in Anbar and Nineveh governorates.

"After intensifying intelligence efforts to pursue remnants of the terrorism, and based on accurate intelligence of the 10th and 15th Divisions of Commanders of the Directorate of Military Intelligence-DMI and in cooperation with the force in charge, and through elaborate ambushes in the checkpoints of Al-Suqour and Al-Tahadi and Al-Moumi village, Five members of ISIS terrorist gangs were arrested,” stated SMC in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
The statement added that "the terrorists are wanted per the provisions of Article 4 of the anti-Terrorism law, as they were fighting within ISIS groups against our security forces," noting that "they were handed over to the competent authorities under the applicable legal contexts.
